⚠️ You will be able to access both this and the new ride plan with the your plan URLs.⚠️
So What Now? 🤷
Update your ride status 🚴 / 🚳
On the first day of your ride plan (START DATE), you will receive an email reminder to complete your first ride. When you've completed it, come back to this page to mark your ride completed ✅. If you miss a ride, you can come back to mark the ride incomplete 🚳, or we will do it for you.
Each day you can mark the ride completed and record your ride time. Doing so will update the stats above (Completed Rides, Average Speed, Average Ride Time, Estimated Century Ride Time). Accurately tracking your ride completions and times is a great way to see how you are progressing.
When do I rest? 🛌
You will notice that there are no rest days indicated in your riding plan (EXCEPT for the final week). This is intentional. I do not know your schedule, you will need to determine how many and which days you will rest on each week. Try your best not to miss more than two (2) rides per week.
What days do I climb/sprint/do HIIT? 🏋️
You will also notice specific ride workouts (high intensity, sprinting, climbing, etc) have not been specified. This plan is solely to build up your miles to a Century ride, how you ride each day is up to you - just get your miles in.
I really need an extra kick in the butt to stay motivated. 😪
On your first ride day, you will be given the option to give yourself a little more motivation by committing a dollar 💵 amount (US$) against your motivation. You can add a credit card 💳 via Stripe to be charged a specified amount you select ONLY IF you:
Fail to complete your final Century Ride 😪, or
Miss more than TWO (2) rides each week 🚳
Putting your money on the line is a great way to keep you motivated and in the saddle 🚴. NOTE: Your card will only ever be charged ONE TIME per ride plan - if you miss 3+ rides multiple weeks, for example, you are not going to be charged each week. So make the penalty amount high enought to keep you going when you just want to skip a day 🙅.
Thanks for using Zero to Century! If you have any feedback or find any bugs it would be awesome to let me know. I'm a solo maker so be nice 😀 - I am trying my hardest to make this a tool to help you plan and achieve a Century Ride.
